With five locations across Louisiana, our Payroll Clerk plays an important role in taking care of our employees who take care of our customers. What You'll do: You'll play an important role in working alongside our HR and accounting departments, making sure our employees are paid accurately and on time while continuing to develop your payroll skills and HR knowledge.

  • Payroll Management: Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees across our locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll laws and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records, including tax forms, direct deposit information, and benefit deductions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly, maintaining trust and transparency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR and accounting teams to coordinate payroll changes, new hires, and terminations.
  • System Operations: Leverage our ADP platform to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency.

What We're Looking For: As an entry level Payroll Clerk, we're looking for someone who has a solid administrative foundation, some payroll experience is preferred, but someone who is looking to grow and be coachable.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-location or automotive dealership environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in ADP or similar HRIS platforms and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: A sharp eye and commitment for accuracy, especially when working with numbers.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify improvements to payroll processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
  • Integrity: High level of confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive information.
  • Coachable: Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
