Job Overview

Join Cargill as a Machine Operator and play a hands‑on role in getting our productssafely prepared for customers. In this role, you'll operate packaging and conveyingequipment, monitor production, and support quality and safety standards across theplant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, usingtechnology, and being part of a team that keeps production running smoothly.

What You will Do:

  • Operate production equipment including packing lines and powered mobileequipment.
  • Set up monitor and adjust machines to ensure products meet quality andpackaging specifications.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipmentissues using hand and power tools.
  • Record production quality and downtime data manually and electronicallyincluding SAP entries.
  • Move unload and store finished products using forklifts pallet jacks or othermaterial handling equipment.
  • Follow all food safety regulatory and safety procedures including lockout tagoutand support housekeeping and quality checks.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advancenotice.
  • Perform duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written.
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, andcapable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing,
    bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and whileusing appropriate PPE.
  • Basic computer skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • At least one year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or plantenvironment.
  • Forklift operating experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.
