If you've got the appetite for a new job as a Night Shift Material Handler – Production Receiving, for McIlhenny Company, makers of TABASCO® Brand products, then we want to hear from you.Must-haves to apply for this job:High School Diploma or GEDPhysically able to perform essential job functions.Must be able to lift and move equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Basic math and documentation skillsPossess basic computer skills (Outlook, Oracle, MS Teams) and the ability to learn production and warehouse systems and processesWhat this job is all about:The Material Handler – Production Receiving is an entry level position responsible for safe and accurate receipt of finished goods from production lines, while transporting, storing, and recording finished products within the warehouse inventory system.In this job, you'll do things like:Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and palletizer equipment safelyComply with warehouse GMP and food safety requirementsVerify lot numbers, labeling, and traceability for all production receiptsHandle finished goods to prevent contamination, damage, or mislabelingExecute production receiving transactions accurately in Oracle WMS using RF scannersReceive finished goods under the correct batch with accurate lot, quantity, and location detailsPerform RF transfers to assigned storage locationsPerform Item queries in Oracle to check quantities and locations to confirm accurate transactionsKnow how to print production schedule to identify order/batch pallet requirementsMaintain palletizer infeed per batch?specific requirementsIdentify correct pallet type, pattern, and quantity for each batchInstall corner boards, slip sheets, and additional packaging supports as requiredDetermine appropriate shrink wrap method based on product and export requirementsTransport finished goods from palletizer to shrink wrap and into designated storage locationsParticipate in cycle counts, recounts, and inventory investigationsAssist in root cause analysis for production receiving and inventory discrepanciesMaintain transaction discipline to support KPI and performance expectationsOther great stuff about this job:You'll be more than just a number!
