Distribution Scheduling Coordinator

Sirius Staffing is hiring a Distribution Scheduling Coordinator to work on-site in Lake Charles, LA, or in Broussard, LA. In this role, you are responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing customer-requested work, mandated work, line maintenance tasks, capital projects, and daily design activities for the Distribution Engineering Design team. Full-time, on-site | Ongoing assignment with no set end date Rate: $41.69-46.32/hr BOE

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• This role ensures customer requests are handled promptly, Designer workloads are balanced, and all work is properly tracked in Maximo and related systems.
• Contact external customers within one business day to schedule appointments with Designers and gather required design information.
• Interpret and apply organizational policies related to customer service requests.
• Provide customers with clear instructions on tasks they must complete to receive service by their requested date.
• Manage Design resources within assigned geographic areas; assign Designers to primary and secondary territories.
• Monitor Designer calendars to ensure efficient and effective scheduling.
• Communicate regularly with Designers regarding assignments, schedules, and customer-specific questions.
• Coordinate with Network Line groups to expedite work when possible to meet customer deadlines or special requests.
• Identify and resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
• Utilize AM/FM-DFM and Maximo systems for construction-related applications.
• Review and update Maximo backlogs for the Distribution Engineering Department; identify deficiencies, analyze alternatives, and recommend solutions.
• Serve as a member of the Storm Response Team, supporting Damage Assessment and/or Logistics during restoration events.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant experience
• OR
• Associate degree and 1–2 years of relevant experience in utility, distribution, scheduling, or Maximo-related work

Experience

• 2 years of Transmission or Distribution experience preferred (Entergy experience a plus).
• 1 year of Maximo & CCS (customer care/contact system) experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work across multiple levels of the organizational structure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience or training in scheduling resources or maintenance/construction practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database applications.
• Desired: Knowledge of Maximo; GDT; AM/FM-DFM; Storm Assist; Power BI; CCS; and Distribution Line construction, maintenance, and materials.
