AFTER MASTERING THE GAS STATION AND CONVENIENCE STORE BUSINESS IN TEXAS AND PERFECTING THEIR FAMOUS BBQ, OUR FOUNDERS MOVED TO LAKE CHARLES TO BRING THEIR SPECIAL SAUCE TO SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA AND BEYOND.What We Are Looking For: Stockers (Lake Charles, Sulphur, Westlake, Moss Bluff, Gillis, Lacassine, Duson, Lafayette, Scott, Broussard, Carencro )Our growing company is looking for experienced Stockers. A Stocker is responsible for making sure that consumers have access to the merchandise they are looking for by organizing product displays and storage. Stock all products throughout the store, check expiration dates, arrange products, unload trucks, straighten shelves, and assist guests.Responsibilities of a Stocker : Welcome all guests with “Welcome to Grab-N-Geaux”Provide customer service since you work in a visible space on the floor while arranging merchandiseEnsure all items are stored in the appropriate locations throughout the storeSort and stock all products on shelves and in backroom using FIFO methodClean and maintain restrooms throughout the shiftMaintain the cleanliness of the store, parking lot, gas pumps, outside areas according to Grab-N-Geaux standardsMaintain department appearance by rotating product(s) sustaining product levels throughout the day, properly managing outdated product, ensuring cases and displays are well maintainedAll employees may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as neededQualifications of a Stocker: Must be 18 years or olderHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience requiredPrevious customer service experience preferredPrevious cash handling experience preferredBasic math and counting skills required (add, subtract, multiply and divide)Demonstrate communication skills, both written and verbalRequires the ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, of up to 40-75 lbs.Ability to work in intermittent temperatures; i.e. outside, coolers, etc.Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of timeMust be available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evening, weekends, or holidaysComplete the Louisiana Vendor Permit Card (Bar Card) before start dateMust have reliable transportation to and from the store's locationJob Type: Full-timePay: $10-$1335% Employee discount [only while clocked in]Paid time off [after 1 year of an average of 35 or more hours]#J-18808-Ljbffr
