Warehouse Material Handler

Ready for a steady Monday–Friday opportunity where you can put your warehouse and forklift skills to work? Ōnin Staffing is hiring an experienced Warehouse Material Handler for a great company in Broussard, LA! This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and keeping materials moving safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.

What You'll Do

• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
• Pull and assemble customer orders accurately
• Receive incoming materials and place inventory in designated locations
• Operate a sit-down forklift, side loader, and other material-handling equipment
• Load trucks, trailers, and customer vehicles
• Tag and identify materials and complete required documentation
• Restock materials and perform basic inventory spot checks
• Measure materials and perform basic math using decimals and fractions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Skills and Experience

• 1–2 years of warehouse/material handling experience
• 1–2 years of sit-down forklift experience REQUIRED
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials
• Basic measurement and math skills
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions
• Dependable with strong attention to detail
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willing and able to obtain required equipment certifications

Schedule & Pay

Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Location: Broussard, LA

PPE: Provided
