Key requirements: Previous hands-on welding experience required Experience performing general repair welding, preferably on trucks, trailers, or heavy-duty vehicles Able to repair cracks in truck bodies and weld flat bar/steel components Comfortable performing minor repairs such as cutting out and replacing worn bushings Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Must provide their own welding machine, welding equipment, rods/consumables, and oxygen/acetylene Client will provide the steel, flat bar, pipe, and other materials needed for repairs Must be available for occasional morning or evening call-outs, typically 2+ times per week Shifts: Vary by need 3 hr. minimum on a call out
