Location: Broussard, LA

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (extended hours as needed)

Looking for a hands-on shop opportunity in the oilfield industry? We're hiring a Shop Hand to support daily shop operations by preparing equipment, handling materials, and assisting with basic oilfield-related tasks. If you enjoy physical work, have experience working in a shop environment, and want an opportunity to grow with a great team, this could be the perfect fit.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years of oilfield, shop hand, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work safely in a shop environment

Job Duties

• Pack and organize oilfield equipment for shipment and storage
• Roll, measure, and cut rope and other materials to specifications
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop
• Use tape measures and basic hand tools accurately
• Assist with general shop maintenance and housekeeping
• Support inventory organization and material staging
• Follow all company safety procedures and shop policies
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production and operational goals

Physical Capabilities

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying
• Ability to perform physically demanding shop work throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment
