This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for every patient.Key Responsibilities Chairside AssistancePrepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals)Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needsEnsure patient comfort before, during, and after treatmentPatient Care & CommunicationGreet and prepare patients for treatmentReview medical histories and update patient recordsProvide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene educationSterilization & Infection ControlSterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelinesOrganize and maintain dental supplies and instrumentsEnsure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointmentsAdministrative Support (as needed)Schedule appointments and confirm visitsAssist with billing, insurance processing, or chartingMaintain accurate treatment documentationQualifications Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferredX-ray certification (Required)Expanded Functions and/or coronal polishing certificate (preferred)Knowledge of Dentrix.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate, patient-focused, and team-orientedPhysical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periodsMonday- Friday 9AM-5PM1 Hour Lunch 1PM- 2PM
