Grocery Stocker - Part Time

This is a part-time position working under the supervision of the NuNu's Fresh Market Grocery Manager, Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

Assists in building customer sales, providing superior customer service, stocking shelves, bagging groceries, carrying out orders for customers, and maintaining store conditions up to NuNu's standards. Dependable, punctual, good work habits, detail oriented, and a high energy level. Must maintain a clean and presentable appearance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets all customers with a smile and a pleasant attitude.
• Engage in appropriate conversations with customers and thanking them for choosing to shop with us.
• Understands and complies with all safety and sanitation guidelines of NuNu's.
• Responsible for keeping grocery, dairy, and frozen shelves stocked, properly rotated, and fronted according to NuNu's specifications.
• Working backstock products.
• Keeps retail store area and warehouse area clean and safe.
• Knowledge of items in store and able to answer customer inquiries or direct them to the proper department supervisor or store manager or assistant manager
• Performs a high level of customer service at all times.
• Communicates with customers in a professional manner.
• Serve as backup to bag grocery and bring groceries to customer cars as needed.
• Performs all other duties as needed and required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have excellent communication skills, polite, and friendly.
• Able to comply with NuNu's sanitation and safety standards.
• Able to lift and carry 70 lbs.
• Able to properly unload, store, and rotate merchandise.
• Able to properly bag groceries and bring to customer cars.
• Able to work in temperatures below 30 degrees for long periods of time.
• Able to sweep and mop.
• Able to use repetitive motion with hands and arms.
• Able to operate pallet jack and cardboard baler.
• Skill in reading and math.
• Ability to understand and comply with NuNu's policies and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and follow instructions.
• Customer service skills required.
• Ability to work well with different personalities.
• Ability to work under stressful situations.
• Able to bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work various shifts including weekends.
