Lafayette, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Materials Coordinator/Shipping Receiving ClerkEssential Duties: Receive purchasing items as outlined in the Purchase Order (PO)Inspect all incoming materials for discrepancies or damage; notify appropriate personnel and place items in designated areasWrite MTR and job numbers on all incoming materials after inspectionCompare PO's with packing slips, documentation, and specifications for accuracyQuarantine incorrectly received materials and coordinate disposition (use, return, or replacement) with appropriate personnelPrepare outgoing shipments and return materials as instructedAssist with maintaining and completing required materials department documentationReview Shop Foreman BOMs and pick up/deliver parts as requestedMaintain cleanliness and organization of shipping and receiving work areasConduct inventory of unused parts at job completion to determine returnable/creditable items; complete return authorization forms for reviewLoad and unload trucks as neededMonitor shop supply levels and notify Materials Coordinator when replenishment is neededPerform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnelRequirements/Skills: Valid driver's license required with acceptable MVRAbility to safely operate a company vehicle/truck for parts pickup and deliveriesExperience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inspection processesAbility to read and match purchase orders, packing slips, and job documentationBasic computer and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed (up to 50 lbs or more at times)Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing in a warehouse/shop environmentAbility to load and unload trucks safelyMust be able to work in varying warehouse/shop conditionsEqual Opportunity Statement: Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
