Service Porter Opportunity At Sterling Kia

Sterling KIA in Lafayette, LA is hiring! We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business.

The Service Porter supports the daily operations of the Service Department by maintaining vehicle flow throughout the dealership, assisting customers, and ensuring service areas remain organized and efficient. This position is responsible for moving vehicles throughout dealership property, retrieving vehicles for customers, and driving customer and company vehicles to and from designated locations as needed. The Service Porter also assists with the overall appearance and organization of the service department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Move vehicles between the service drive, shop, wash area, holding lots, and customer pickup areas.
• Assist with vehicle flow throughout the Service Department.
• Retrieve and stage customer vehicles for pickup.
• Maintain organization of customer vehicles on dealership property.
• Provide occasional customer shuttle assistance as needed.
• Pick up and deliver customer and company vehicles to designated locations in a safe and professional manner.
• Assist with parts pickups and deliveries within the local area.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of service and customer areas.
• Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or possess a minimum of three years of licensed driving experience.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
