Stockroom Receiver

This position is located at Tubinger Str. 22, Stuttgart, 70178 Germany

Pay Range: EUR €13.90 - EUR €15.44 /Hr.

Role Summary

As a stockroom receiver, your main task is to support the store management team in creating the store environment, promoting creativity, employee development, and maintaining the Urban Outfitters philosophy of "peers training peers."

Duties & Responsibilities:

What You'll Be Doing

Team:

• You uphold the company's mystery shop standards and ensure that customer service always takes precedence
• You contribute to the overall positive atmosphere in the store by being positive, respectful, and helpful towards others
• You adapt to the needs of the store by supporting customer service, damage prevention, cleaning tasks, and store projects

Teamwork & Communication:

• You lead by example, inspiring, motivating, and nurturing the team
• You support management by providing training and coaching on receipt and inventory control measures
• You ensure effective communication and build partnerships with the store team, inventory control, and headquarters
• You actively participate in daily meetings

Operations:

• You successfully lead the team in the receipt process and complete the processing in a timely manner
• You take responsibility for the receipt process to ensure that operational tasks are completed and that the receipt and warehouse areas remain tidy, clean, and organized
• You complete the receipt documents carefully and on time
• You set a good example by adhering to the company's policies and procedures
• You demonstrate a strong awareness of preventing damage and contribute to ensuring compliance with all inventory control measures
• You always adhere to the company's health and safety regulations
• Store maintenance: Responsible for performing basic cleaning tasks in and around the premises, such as cleaning floors and rooms, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger items from the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.

Merchandising & Display:

• You work with the visual merchandising manager and the management team to coordinate and support product placement and maintain standards throughout the store

• You show familiarity with best-selling products and prioritize restocking the most popular items

• You support sales by helping with merchandising and display projects as needed

What You'll Need

• Leadership experience in a retail environment
• The ability to move around the sales floor and warehouse, including repeated bending, prolonged standing, turning, crouching, and climbing
• Open availability for night and weekend work, including early and late shifts, to meet the company's requirements
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Optional: You speak German and enjoy learning other foreign languages
