Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk Department: Finance Reports to: Controller Location: Lafayette, LA Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time General Summary: Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, performing a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions in the organization, as well as, maintaining accurate accounting records related to real estate loans and notes payable. Responsibilities Check, verify and process invoices Reconcile vendor statements Sort, code and enter accounts payable data Maintain vendor files Identify and reconcile discrepancies Assist in month end reporting procedures Special projects as assigned by leaders Perform filing and general administrative tasks Assist with Receptionist duties.
