Specialist Sea Freight Export

Tasks

• Independently ensure the proper clearance, in compliance with customs and legal requirements, of sea freight export shipments.
• Plan and organize transport operations in the area of sea freight export, taking into account all modes of transport.
• Take responsibility for shipment tracking and rate negotiations.
• Support and advise our customers worldwide and correspond internationally in our DACHSER network and with our partners.
• Independently handle complaints, develop customer-oriented solutions, and serve as the contact person for correct billing and invoicing.

Qualifications

• You have a completed training as a merchant in forwarding and logistics services or a comparable commercial qualification with forwarding experience.
• You ideally have first experience in the forwarding environment, but also newcomers are welcome.
• You have already proven your competent conversation and negotiation skills and enjoy communicating with customers.
• Your profile is complemented by good English and MS Office skills.
• You are characterized by a team-oriented, flexible, and reliable demeanor.
