Requirements Looking for a CV Surgeon. Specific weeks we have the need are July 13 through August 3. Need the provider to cover all or atleast 2 of these weeks. Please include availability in presentation. Ongoing needs will also be available PRN. NEW CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENT: will need to provide demonstration that applicant has performed at least 100 cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures, reflective of the scope of privileges requested, during the past 24 monthsWill need temp privlidges so needs to have a clean background. Credentialing packet is sent once LA license is obtained at this location. Case logs will be needed for credentialing for past 24 months. Scope of Practice: Inpatient/Surgery Only24-hour call coverage, 3–4 days per week. Would work 1 weekend of call coverage. Other days would be 8 hour inpatient rounding/ surgery. Team Structure: 2 Cardiovascular Surgeons3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)Procedures Performed:Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)ThoracotomiesLobectomiesAbdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) RepairsArterial BypassesAortic Valve ReplacementsResponsibilities: Inpatient roundingSurgical consultsEmergency Room call coverageProgram Volume:Approximately 90 surgeries/procedures per month
