R & R Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Welder / Fitter to join our team in Broussard. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, understands quality standards, and wants to be part of a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux Core welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Prepare materials including cutting, grinding, and fitting
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Verify work meets AWS, ASME, API, and customer specifications
• Document inspections and complete quality reports
• Assist with or coordinate NDT testing (UT, MT, PT, RT)
• Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of hands-on welding and fitting experience
• Strong understanding of welding processes and metallurgy
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Knowledge of welding codes and industry standards
• Experience working in a fabrication or industrial environment
• Certifications are a plus:
• AWS Certified Welder
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• ASNT Level II (NDT)
• API 1104 / ASME Section IX experience

Work Environment & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime as needed)
• Shop and occasional field work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work may include heights, confined spaces, and non-climate-controlled environments
