Cafeteria Manager JobID: 5209Position Type:Support Staff/Cafeteria ManagerDate Posted:5/27/2026Location:Erath High SchoolDate Available:08/11/2026Closing Date:Noon on 06/03/2026Additional Information: Show/HideCafeteria ManagerThis is a nine month position.Minimum Qualifications:* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.* Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.* Must be able to use basic math and banking functions.* Must have a minimum of one year formal training in food services or three years successful school food service experience as a cafeteria technician; on-the-job training as a cafeteria manager preferred.* Must possess computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of basic office procedures.* Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with assistance.* Must be able to be exposed to and work in drastic temperature changes.* Must be able to work and come in contact with water, detergents, cleaning agents and sanitizer.* Must be able to stand for 7 hours or more daily.* Must pass background check and functional assessment test prior to employment as required by Vermilion Parish School Board policies and procedures.* Experience with food service software preferred.Applications will be taken starting Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
