Summary of Position:

EdenScapes is looking for a high energy, positive self starter to fill our Maintenance Account Manager Role. The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with our Maintenance clients, and upselling/cross selling the other services that we offer. Responsibilities include regularly scheduled site visits with a Site Audit process, following up on new customer requests, creating and submitting quotes for work, keeping customers informed of project progression, submitting jobs to be invoiced, and continuing communication with customers as applicable.

The Account Manager is responsible for sending work downstream to Maintenance Crews. This includes ensuring that all notes and info have been accurately recorded, drawings and/or legibly marked up photos have been included, and Proposals have been built properly in Aspire. Once work flows downstream, all details must have already been ironed out, with nothing being left unaddressed or unaccounted for. The AM will work closely with the OM on things such as materials, processes, and other specific needs of individual customers/projects. The AM will also at times be responsible for interfacing communication between customers and the maintenance department operations and field managers to ensure a second-to-none customer satisfaction.

Lastly, the Account Manager will be required at times to support crews onsite and ensure that the work is being carried out as promised and is aligned with company protocols and professional industry standards.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Horticulture or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of field experience in Landscape Maintenance or a combination of Landscape Maintenance and Lawn Maintenance and/or Landscape Installations.
  • Familiarity with softwares such as Aspire, Trello, Google Suite, or similar software systems, and/or the ability to be flexible and learn different softwares and programs.
  • Great people and communication skills (oral and written).

Client-facing Responsibilities:

  • Follow guidelines and processes provided to ensure that clients are heard and their needs are established thoroughly at first visit.
  • Collaborates with Ops & Field Manager to ensure client's expectations are met and that jobs are kept on schedule and on budget.
  • Works with OM and Supervisors to make sure customer's requests and expectations are exceeded in an efficient manner.
  • Respond to all customer inquiries same day through close of business 4pm. Any inquiries after 4pm should be followed up upon the next morning by 10am.
  • Return quotes within the determined time frame:
  • Lawn Service- 24hrs
  • Horticulture- 3 days

Field Operation Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with OM to stay ahead of plant and supply orders
  • Works closely with OM to ensure crews have what is needed to keep jobs moving efficiently.
  • Meets crews onsite when needed to ensure quality standards and company protocols are being upheld

Account Management Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages roughly $1M in maintenance accounts annually.
  • Sells approximately 50%+ of account contract amount in enhancements (upsells).
  • Effectively quotes jobs, and accurately estimates time needed to complete.
  • Closes sales and coordinates job specifics with Operations & Accounting Personnel.
  • Assists in the development of upsell initiatives for the Maintenance Department.
  • Maintaining an accurately time blocked calendar/schedule
  • Maintaining an organized workflow and to-do list

Salary Range: $50k-60K plus commissions
