The Teller Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of the Tellers. Will perform all teller functions while monitoring service and sales quality levels of the teller area. Responsible for scheduling, annual performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for staff under the guidance of the Branch Manager.
Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills essential to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of staff and visitors.
Strong Leadership skills needed to coach and lead tellers. Experience required.
Work requires knowledge of a multi-line phone system.
Cash Handling experience preferred.
Experience at a financial institution preferred.
Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculation and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.). These skills are typically acquired through completion of high school.
Work required frequent lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds when carrying boxes and supplies to the stock room. This activity also requires frequent standing, and occasional bending, squatting, twisting and reaching.
