About this Job This position serves as a Coastal Resources Scientist in the Lafayette Regional Office (LRO), Operations Division of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) to support critical ecosystem monitoring and management efforts. The incumbent provides journeyman-level scientific and technical expertise in support of coastal restoration and hurricane flood protection projects. Work is performed as part of a functional unit contributing to the implementation of CPRAs mission to protect and restore Louisianas coast. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: biological sciences, physical sciences, earth sciences, environmental sciences, natural sciences, engineering or a related field.
