Job Title: Weekend Shift Supervisor - CNC MachiningLocation: Carencro, LASchedule: Friday - Sunday, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours worked and paid for 40Compensation: $38 to $45+/hour, depending on experienceAbout the Opportunity:We are seeking a Weekend Shift Supervisor to lead CNC machining operations within a growing, technology-driven precision manufacturing environment supporting aerospace, defense, space, and energy industries.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving production performance, maintaining strict quality standards, supporting machinists on the floor, and helping develop the team within a structured, high-performance shop environment.Key Responsibilities:* Lead and oversee machining activity across the assigned weekend shift, including mills, lathes, and 5-axis equipment* Drive production output, on-time delivery, machine utilization, and overall shift performance* Support and develop Cell Leads and CNC Machinists* Troubleshoot machining issues including setups, tooling, process flow, and production constraints* Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO, and internal quality standards* Monitor production data and address inefficiencies in real time* Conduct shift startup meetings and manage shift handoffs* Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and high-performing shop environment* Reinforce accountability, quality ownership, and continuous improvement across the shiftQualifications:* 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment* 2+ years in a lead, supervisory, senior machinist, or similar leadership role* Strong understanding of CNC production flow, shop operations, and troubleshooting* Ability to read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and understand work instructions* Experience working in structured quality environments such as AS9100, ISO, API, or similar* Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills* Ability to lead by example in a hands-on production environmentPreferred Experience:* Strong 5-axis machining exposure or experience supporting complex CNC milling environments* Background in aerospace, defense, space, oil & gas, or other tight-tolerance manufacturing* Familiarity with ERP/MES systems such as ProShop, Datanomix, or similar platforms* Experience developing machinists, operators, or cell leadsWhy This Opportunity:* High-growth company scaling operations* Weekend schedule with 36 hours worked and paid for 40* Modern CNC equipment and structured manufacturing processes* Clean, organized, and technology-driven shop environment* Strong leadership team and long-term advancement opportunity
