Job Title: CNC Machinist – Multiple Openings

Location: Carencro, LA

Shifts: Night Shift and Weekend Shift opportunities available

Compensation: $25 to $40+/hour, depending on experience, role, and shift

We are hiring multiple CNC Machinists across night and weekend shifts to support a rapidly growing precision manufacturing operation serving aerospace, defense, space, and energy industries.

Openings vary by machine type, shift, and experience level. Candidates with CNC mill, CNC lathe, 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis machining experience are encouraged to apply.

Available Shifts:

Night Shift:

5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Includes 15% to 20% shift premium

Weekend Shift Options:

Friday – Sunday

4:00 AM – 4:00 PM

5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Openings Include:

• 5-Axis CNC Machinists

• CNC Mill Machinists, including 3-axis and 4-axis

• CNC Lathe Machinists

• CNC Operators and Machinists with varying levels of setup experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and/or 5-axis equipment depending on experience

• Run production to established setups, travelers, and work instructions

• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T

• Monitor machine performance and identify issues during production

• Make offsets and adjustments as needed, based on experience level

• Maintain accurate production documentation and quality standards

• Follow all safety, housekeeping, and shop floor procedures

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred

• Experience with CNC mills, CNC lathes, 5-axis machining, or similar precision machining equipment

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently while following established procedures

• Willingness to work night shift or weekend shift

Preferred Experience:

• 5-axis machining experience

• Mastercam exposure

• Setup experience

• Experience working with tight tolerances, including ±0.001" or better

• Background in aerospace, defense, space, oil & gas, or other precision manufacturing environments

• Experience with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, titanium, Monel, alloys, or other exotic metals
