The Senior Marketing Specialist serves in a benefits marketing and renewal support role, assisting with employee benefit strategy, carrier marketing, financial reporting, renewal analysis, and internal team support. This role works with mid-size, and large group accounts (25-500 employees) and plays a critical role in helping the organization deliver competitive benefit solutions and smooth renewal processes. Responsibilities. A. Renewal Preparation & Strategy. Participate in pre-renewal meetings with Account Managers and Account Executives. Review and complete Marketing Request Forms. Pull and analyze claims experience reports. Review large claimant and catastrophic claim activity. Identify notable trends such as high-cost medications or major surgeries. Review current plan rates and available renewal rates. Prepare recommendations regarding:Current carrier strategy. Marketing to alternative carriers. Plan design changes. Cost-saving opportunities.
