Job Details

Assists the Technologist by escorting patients and assisting in their care as needed. Navigates successfully through all computer systems to obtain necessary information. Observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during their stay in the imaging department. Transports supplies, equipment and instruments, charts, records, x-rays and reports for the department. Maintains adequate supplies in exam rooms, handling of oxygen tanks, developing and copying films. Advocates accomplishment of team goals and objectives by promoting a balanced workload and maintains a positive work environment. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
