A company is looking for a Government Affairs Specialist Lead to support government relations and advocacy strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver public policy strategies and communications in collaboration with business leadersAdvocate for the company's interests through external lobbying resources and trade organizationsWork closely with senior leaders and the Government Affairs team on legislative and regulatory issuesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED equivalent or higher with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experienceExperience in government relations, advocacy, public policy, or related business activitiesPrior experience with property and casualty insurance regulatory and/or government relationsProven ability to develop relationships with governmental agencies, legislators, and external organizationsExperience in developing and delivering public policy strategies and communications
