About the role
We're looking for a skilled Machinist to join our machine shop team. You'll operate a variety of machining tools to manufacture and repair parts to exact specifications, playing a key role in keeping production running safely and on schedule.
What you'll do
- Manufacture and repair products safely and on schedule
- Operate and maintain assigned machine tools and workstation
- Deburr all parts to ensure they meet spec and are free of sharp edges
- Perform daily maintenance and inspection of all equipment in your work area
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Complete additional duties as directed by the Machine Shop Manager
- Experience operating machining tools and reading engineering specs
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
- Ability to work scheduled overtime and shift work
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
