The University of Louisiana at Lafayette New Iberia Research Center specializes in the breeding, management, and importation of a diverse range of nonhuman primate species and offers a broad range of diagnostic, laboratory, and human resources for the development and characterization of nonhuman primate models for applied and basic research aimed at promoting human quality of life. We operate diversified animal housing systems include indoor/outdoor cages for housing small non-human primates in large family groups, outdoor corncrib/mini crib combinations for housing macaque and Cercopithecine species, and indoor single housing units for all non-human primate species.
We're looking for a Trades Apprentice to join our New Iberia Research Center (NIRC) Team. This entry-level position plays a vital role in supporting skilled trades staff by assisting with repairs, maintenance, and construction projects while gaining on-the-job experience in a chosen trade.
Minimum Qualifications: No experience or training is required.
