Deepwater Crane Operator & Production OperatorA Deepwater Crane Operator & Production Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining cranes on an offshore procurement platform in the Gulf of Mexico as well as work as a production operator when not completing lifts.ResponsibilitiesOperate levers and pedals to control the crane.Follow hand signals to raise, lower, and rotate the boom or load.Lift and move equipment or material on the platform and between boats in various sea conditions.Maintain and clean crane equipment.Provide leadership to construction riggers.Conduct safety and operation inspections of the crane.Start up, operate, monitor and shut down process and utility systemsMonitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (level, flow, temperature, pressure etc.) within operating requirements.Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume to identify problems.Maintain discharge water quality within current SBMPC or local guidelines.Monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas SystemsEnsure accurate production reporting is submitted daily or as required by company and client.Witness third party calibrations when appropriate to provide verification of meter factors and volumes.Prove export oil meters.Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner. Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements.Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Real ID driver's license or current U.S. passport.5 or more years of prior offshore crane operating experience.2-4 years offshore production operating experience.Crane Operator Certification.Previous experience operating Seatrax cranes preferred.Deepwater operating experience preferred.Mechanical experience or aptitude.
