Welder's Helper - Manufacturing Plant
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Primary hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Alternate hours (occasional): 7:00 AM - 3:30PM
We are looking for a skilled helper to support our welding operations. This is hands-on role that does not involve actual welding but requires physical stamina and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist welders by carrying materials and holding equipment
- Perform pipe threading and pipe fitting tasks
- Hold wrenches and pipe during fabrication
- Clean and grind metal surfaces
- Take accurate measurements
- Operate scissor lifts (up to 15 feet) as needed
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to work at heights using scissor lifts
- Physical capability to lift and carry materials
- Strong attention to safety protocols
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Must pass local background check and preemployment drug screen
