Maintain and trouble shoot alarm equipment issues.

Assist Security Techs with install jobs/services calls.

Learn all aspects of security job.

Explain procedures related to customer's security system.

Diagnose and rectify customer issues with alarm equipment.

Maintains workplace cleanliness and organization.
7
Remains educated and informed of industry trends in products, procedures and services.
8
Ensures that customer issues are resolved promptly and professionally.

Acadian Total Security, a division of Acadian Companies, is seeking Security Apprentices for an upcoming project in Texas. These are full-time, temporary positions with the potential for permanent employment upon project completion.
Schedule:
- 2 week rotations
- Monday through Saturday, off on Sundays
- Have the option to either stay longer in Texas, or come back to Lafayette and work on other projects
- Housing in Texas and transportation to Texas is provided

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be PC literate with some familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
