Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects across the bank in alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards. This role partners with business leaders, IT, compliance, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position can be located in any of our market locations. It is not eligible for remote or hybrid arrangements.

Main Duties Of The Job

  • Lead end-to-end project management for initiatives involving technology, operations, compliance, or business transformation
  • Develop project charters, detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and external vendors
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as appropriate
  • Ensure adherence to banking regulations, internal controls, data security, and audit requirements
  • Track project progress and provide regular status reporting to senior management and stakeholders
  • Manage change requests and scope adjustments using established governance processes
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and executive updates
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements
  • Support post-implementation reviews and benefits realization tracking

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field37 years of project management experience, preferably in banking or financial servicesProficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar)Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skillsProject Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification preferredExperience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or vendor-led implementations preferredKnowledge of banking regulations (e.g., FFIEC, SOX, GLBA, BSA/AML) preferredStrong planning and prioritization skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyRisk-aware and detail-oriented mindsetCollaborative leadership styleAbility to translate business needs into actionable project plans
