DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:

SAP Basis Developer (Senior)

Position Overview
The SAP BASIS Developer will support the technical foundation, installation, configuration, and hardening of the SAP landscape enabling the MRP pilot. This position operates in a secure DOE environment and requires both on-site collaboration during key milestones and remote system administration support.

Start date: 4/1/2026
End date: 3/31/2027
Days: Full-time
Mode of delivery: Hybrid, onsite as needed for workshops/events
City State: Remote/SC
Requirement - US Citizen; Foreign Nationals and persons with dual citizenship are prohibited

Work Location & Travel
• Hybrid role with remote delivery capability
• Travel required for system build activities, integration testing, security validation, and go-live support

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain SAP environments supporting MRP
• Manage transports, client administration, and landscape architecture
• Configure SSL/TLS, SSO, and secure communications
• pply SAP Notes, patches, and kernel upgrades
• Optimize performance and manage capacity planning
• Support secure integration with external systems
• Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity and DOE requirements
• Produce technical documentation and system diagrams

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years SAP BASIS administration experience
• Experience supporting SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA
• Strong Linux administration experience
• Experience with database platforms (SAP HANA preferred)
• Experience in regulated or federal environments
• bility to travel as required and work within secure facilities

Preferred Qualifications
• DOE or federal agency experience
• Familiarity with SAP MRP functionality
