Leidos QTC Health Services Chief Information Office is currently hiring an IT Technical Intern to support our IT Support Team. We seek juniors/seniors who are available part-time during the school year and full-time during summer.
This is an exciting opportunity to use technical skills gained in school to solve real world problems as a member of the LQTC IT support team and make programs at LQTC run more efficiently.
In this role, you will be assigned tasks that are relevant and necessary to the successful execution of the LQTC Information Technology roadmap.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support to IT solutions throughout the software lifecycle, tailoring an intern's position to their individual strengths and experience to include:
- Assist teams in modernizing their business processes and answering end user questions on M365.
- Train end users on the M365 applications within the LQTC Portfolio.
- Respond to tickets submitted for LQTC M365 sites and applications.
- Support the LQTC intranet site (Prism) used by over 4,000 employees worldwide.
- Create technical documentation/training material for LQTC IT.
- Provide efficiencies to programs at LQTC by using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Assist in the migration of On-Premises SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online.
- Recreate and modernize on-premises forms and workflows within MS Power Platform.
- Assist mobile users in setting up and accessing M365 applications from mobile devices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field and typically maintain a Minimum GPA 3.0.
- Ability to work full time as a summer/winter intern but desired for candidate to be able to work part time now
- Quick learner, able to adapt to changing technologies and priorities
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement
- Prior experience or classroom training related to software engineering, cybersecurity, technology, business management, project management or IT support is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:- Customer Service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with M365 Applications (Office, SharePoint, Teams)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
Additional Information: - Would prefer candidates to be in Orlando, FL
- Open to remote candidates
- Some travel may be required if candidate located in Orlando area.
