Were hiring a part-time bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a company thats growing fast and doing meaningful work. The ideal person would be located in Lafayette, LA. The role is remote-friendly, requires 45 hours a week to start, and may grow as the business expands.

Your mission... should you decide to accept it...

Your job is to make sure our books are accurate, our processes are smooth, and the numbers tell the truth. Heres what that includes:

  • QuickBooks Enterprise: Reconcile bank accounts, manage payables, and ensure everything stays clean and current
  • Payroll Coordination: Submit hours and commissions to our PEO (we dont run payroll internally)
  • Invoicing & Receivables: Send invoices, follow up on past-due payments, and track incoming funds
  • Vendor Management: Pay bills, manage vendor records, and keep tabs on accounts payable
  • Expense Tracking: Review submitted expense reports (via Expensify) and record them in QuickBooks
  • Mailbox Monitoring: Periodically check our PEO mail and deposit any physical checks
  • Sales Tax Filing: File monthly or quarterly returns with relevant state agencies
  • CPA Coordination: Liaise with our external tax firm as needed
