Join Tot Squad as a Baby Registry Expert

Are you a parent or baby care professional with a passion for helping families feel confident as they prepare for a baby?

Tot Squad partners with Target to connect experienced parents and baby care professionals with expecting families who want trusted, real-world guidance on baby gear and registry planning.

We're currently inviting qualified candidates to apply for the Target Baby Concierge program, an opportunity to provide in-store baby registry consultations to Target guests in select locations. Participation is flexible and non-exclusive, and you choose when (and if) you make yourself available.

You may also choose to take advantage of other consultation opportunities through Tot Squad's national platform. Whether you're looking to expand your care business or reenter the workforce on your own terms, this is a flexible, meaningful opportunity to grow.

Services You May Provide

• Offer personalized baby registry consultations for new and expecting parents
• Share expertise across key baby product categories, including car seats, strollers, sleep products, and more
• Provide warm, supportive, and professional guidance during each appointment
• Represent yourself professionally while delivering high-quality service to families

Compensation

• Target Baby Concierge program: Compensation varies by appointment type and currently ranges from $25–$35 per appointment for opportunities booked through the Target program
• Other Tot Squad opportunities: Baby Registry Experts set their own rates

Compensation is provided per appointment. There is no minimum or guaranteed volume of work offered.

Timing & Availability

• Target Baby Concierge in-store opportunities are expected to begin in select markets in late March 2026
• Availability varies by state and store location; current opportunities are listed in the application
• You choose when and how often you make yourself available

About You

You may be a great fit if:

• You're a parent with firsthand baby gear and registry experience and/or have supported families in a baby-related role (formal or informal)
• You're an independent baby care professional (e.g., doula, CPST, nanny, lactation consultant, baby planner)
• Friends often come to you for baby gear advice
• You enjoy helping families feel supported, confident, and informed
• You communicate clearly, kindly, and professionally

Bonus: Familiarity with baby brands or registry platforms
Location: U.S.-based

Certification Requirements

To participate in Target Baby Concierge in-store appointments, a baby planning certification is required prior to scheduling appointments. Accepted certifications include:

• Gugu Concierge (offered for free)
• Baby Planner University
• Comparable baby planning programs

Participants in the Target program receive complimentary virtual access to Gugu Concierge Certification, typically completed in 1–2 days.

Important Note

This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor (1099) basis, not as employment. Participation is optional and non-exclusive, and participants retain control over their availability and participation in any opportunity.
