What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 1 year Assistant Manager experience, preferably in high-volume food service.
  • Willingness to work 50-55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas).
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and access to reliable transportation.
  • Consent to background screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and the ability to present all required documents per state and federal law.
  • Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods and to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and inspire your team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the restaurant's daily functions.
  • Maintaining financial controls and reporting.
  • Creating staff schedules.
  • Interviewing, hiring, training, and orienting new team members.
  • Coaching, counseling, and fostering team development.
  • Ensuring proper food handling, equipment maintenance, and facility management.
  • Meeting health and safety standards and inspections.
  • Setting a lively, family-friendly atmosphere in the restaurant.
