Cafeteria Technician

This is a 9 month position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and write fluently in English at least at the fifth grade level.
• Must be able to complete simple math problems involving addition and subtraction.
• Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to be exposed to and work in drastic temperature changes.
• Must be able to work and come in contact with water, detergents, cleaning agents and sanitizer.
• Must be able to stand for 6 1/2 hours or more daily.
• Must pass background check and functional assessment test prior to employment as required by Vermilion Parish School Board policies and procedures.
• On-the-job training as cafeteria technician preferred.
