We're hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage all responsibilities related to the front office reception area and other accounting tasks. This Accounts Receivable Specialist opportunity puts your attention to detail and financial expertise at the center of business operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • 3 - 5 years of prior billing / clerical experience.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.
  • Must possess the ability to pay close attention to the smallest details and have good reasoning skills.

Essential Duties:

  • Receive and review completed sales orders from rigging shops, verifying accuracy, pricing, and inclusion of all required and applicable third-party information
  • Prepare, print, distribute, and maintain accounts receivable invoices and monthly customer statements in accordance with established procedures
  • Monitor aged accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and collections
  • Serve as the primary front-desk point of contact by professionally greeting visitors, maintaining visitor logs, coordinating notifications, and ensuring reception coverage as needed
  • Answer and manage incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, route calls appropriately, and document and distribute accurate messages promptly
  • Create and distribute customer certificates as required and perform routine clerical and administrative support tasks as assigned
