Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will assist in various electrical activities on maintenance and improvement projects, working under the guidance of experienced Journeyman Electricians and Project Managers. This position provides an incredible opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in the electrical industry. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work on active job sites, which may involve lifting and carrying tools, standing for long periods, and enduring diverse weather conditions. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is mandatory on all job sites. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Journeyman Electricians and team members with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are ready for each day's tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Follow instructions diligently to aid project completion and communicate effectively with supervisory staff about job site requirements.
  • Engage in training under a Journeyman to enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed to support project goals and overall operations.
  • Maintain a consistent and reliable attendance record to contribute to team success.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and a keen interest in pursuing a career in this field.
  • Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment is an advantage but not required.
  • A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary to comply with Company policy.
Hard Skills:
  • Experience with hand-tools and power tools.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical principles, wiring, circuits, and components.
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in varied conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor settings.
