Join a dedicated team as a Floor Technician, where your expertise in maintaining clean and safe environments is valued. This role involves sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, and buffing floor surfaces efficiently and with attention to detail. You will use appropriate chemicals and cleaning supplies following manufacturer guidelines to ensure the highest standards.

Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment safely and correctly is essential, along with keeping all tools clean and in good condition. Safety is a priority; you will consistently apply safety precautions, including the use of wet floor signs and roping off areas during cleaning.

Additional responsibilities include replenishing supplies and notifying supervisors when stock is low, assisting visitors with directions, and maintaining cleanliness of all facility entries and grounds. You will also handle trash and linen runs, organize supply closets, and perform daily equipment cleaning and storage.

Stripping and waxing empty rooms while accurately documenting daily activities is part of the role, as well as managing outside trash pickup in parking lots and lawns. Flexibility to support other Environmental Services areas as needed is expected to help uphold the organization's mission and values.

Education

No formal education requirements specified; on-the-job training provided.

Experience

Previous experience in floor care or custodial work preferred but not mandatory.
