Tests tubes and cylinders by connecting sensors and utilizing computer program (PAC testing software)to generate data
Replaces valve and "safeties" components per company policy or customer request
Performs leak test on tubes and cylinders using oxygen leak detector from spray bottle with pre-made solution; sprays joints, welds and front and rear of tubes and cylinders.
Compiles reports for company and customer utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel test data
Performs visual evaluation of tubes and cylinders for defects. Inspects cracks, welds, burns and pits using pit gauges, and mirrors.
Perform stockroom work; involves unpacking parts and placing on shelves.
Perform ultra-sonic tests utilizing sensors, computers and cranes.
Compile reports based on testing data for UT area.
Assemble and disassemble trailer components.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma
Experience: 0-2+ years in manufacturing environment preferably in the compressed gas industry.
Mechanical aptitude, good math and analytical skills, ability to lift 50+ lbs, Requires ability to stand, crawl, climb and walk for extended periods of time.
Requires ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 30% of time.
Level I and Level II certifications.
May supervise manufacturing assistant if job requires more than one person to complete in a timely manner.
Working Conditions are inside plant, outside plant, extremes of temperature, may work with and around flammable gases.
Will use crane, wrench, inspection mirror, pit gauge, fire retardant suite, safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, steel toed boots, computers, sensors.
