A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator to provide customer service to patients, families, and medical practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to referral requests and schedule patients for services
- Verify insurance and orders, and perform data entry of patient information
- Assist patients and families in accessing the company's services
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of customer service work experience
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- Experience with Cerner and/or eClinical Works medical record systems preferred
- Understanding of basic medical terminology strongly preferred
