Lafayette Physical Rehabilitation Hospital isseeking a Full-Time Plant Operations Technician.Under the direction of the CEO or PlantOperations Manager, performs all maintenance duties associated with the dailyoperation of the physical plant and assists with construction and/or remodelingprojects as directed by the CEO or Plant Operations Manager. Responsible forparticipating in any required training programs to further his/her knowledge ofphysical plant operations, maintenance, and safety.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent withsome college or trade school.
• Musthave the skills needed to perform the tasks outlined in this job description,and demonstrate the ability to learn them.
• Ability to meet physical demands ofloading and unloading.
• Must be available for evening and weekend callwhen necessary.
• Ableto communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Additionallanguages desirable
• Ability to follow verbal and writteninstructions.
• Ability to read, understand anddemonstrate knowledge of the Hospital's safety program and participate in anysafety training exercises conducted by the Safety Committee.
• Ability to work with other people incourteous manner.
