Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking an experienced and visionary Agile Development Lead to drive Agile delivery excellence across a government supervision systems support program. This role is central to accelerating the agency's modernization journey-enhancing mission-critical applications, increasing delivery frequency, and transitioning to a secure, cloud-based supervisory platform. You will lead Agile teams in implementing DevSecOps practices, eliminating technical debt, and delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions. This position is located in our Lafayette, Louisiana office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Lead Agile development teams in delivering iterative enhancements to the agency's supervision systems, ensuring alignment with modernization and cloud migration goals.
. Drive Agile adoption across the program
. Provide technical leadership through PI Planning and Agile ceremonies; produce and analyze Agile artifacts as required
. Collaborate with government and contractor technical staff, including DBAs and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
. Support DevSecOps implementation by embedding security and compliance tools into the development lifecycle.
. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce duplication, and improve code quality and usability.
. Scale Agile practices across multiple teams, ensuring consistent delivery regardless of hosting environment (on-prem or cloud).
. Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to Agile teams and stakeholders to improve Agile maturity and delivery performance.
. Promote transparency, continuous improvement, and stakeholder trust through data-driven reporting and communication.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
. 5-8 years of experience leading Agile software development teams and transformations.
. Proven experience leading Agile transformations in federal environments,
. Experience with Agile release, cross-team coordination, and managing dependencies.
. Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices.
. Experience with Azure Boards or equivalent tools (e.g., Jira, Atlassian, Confluence).
. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience with cloud-native application development and modernization strategies.
Familiarity with government financial supervision environments, technical landscape or financial regulatory systems.
Background in software engineering or architecture.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600.00 - $176,300.00.
