Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform wheel alignments, brake inspections, brake repairs, and suspension system repairs.
• Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, and brake system issues efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and recommend necessary repairs to customers and management.
• Operate alignment machines, lifts, and diagnostic tools according to manufacturer and company standards.
• Complete work orders, inspection reports, and service documentation accurately.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, and Southern Tire Mart safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors, managers, and other technicians.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times.

Skills, Education & Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and working in awkward postures or under vibration.
