Perform wheel alignments, brake inspections, brake repairs, and suspension system repairs.
Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, and brake system issues efficiently and accurately.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and recommend necessary repairs to customers and management.
Operate alignment machines, lifts, and diagnostic tools according to manufacturer and company standards.
Complete work orders, inspection reports, and service documentation accurately.
Follow all OSHA, DOT, and Southern Tire Mart safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work collaboratively with service advisors, managers, and other technicians.
Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times.
Skills, Education & Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred (not required).
Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids.
Ability to perform physically demanding work involving repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and working in awkward postures or under vibration.
