We're looking for a MRP Planner in our Service Center in New Iberia, LA.- a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you'll do:

Tracks Purchase Orders, expedites urgent and late orders, and communicate status accordingly.
Follow up vendor contact for designated outstanding invoices according to set timelines and log activities & results
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Requisition material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability
Review production schedules and related information and confer with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material
Take part in after-hours call rotation

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

You'll have the following skills and experience:

High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training
Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in related field
Tracking purchase orders.
Provide support to other departments or functions as requested.
Experience repairing diesel and NG generators and/or diesel engines is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy objects
Available to work overtime, travel and on- call rotations.
Other duties as assigned by duty parts manager
