Westaff is hiring for an Industrial Seamstress position in Lafayette, La.

Pay: $11- $15/Hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Qualifications:

• Previous factory sewing, or upholstery experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow instruction manual
• Able to read tape measure
• Able to work standing most of day
• Able to perform teamwork and maintain a positive attitude
• STRONG leadership ability

• Measure and cut rope, windows, and other materials
• Rope and tie shields
• Keep accurate counts
• Label and package items
• Perform quality control work
• Assist in gluing, organizing, and any other tasks that support sewing
• Handle job order paperwork
• Assist with inventory control
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with designing bags (calculating dimensions, etc)
