IES Safety, LLC - Systems Division is seeking skilled and reliable Fire/Gas Detection & Suppression Inspections - Field Service Technicians to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will:

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial and marine fire & gas detection systems
• Perform installations, inspections, and testing aboard vessels
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver reliable service

Qualifications:

• Certification/diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Marine Technology, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in marine fire detection or similar technical roles
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals/schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Additional Details:

• Domestic and international travel is required
• Competitive pay (DOE) with potential for overtime and travel benefits

Physical Demands:

• Must pass a UKOOA-type medical exam demonstrating Fit for Duty
• Must meet the medical requirements to wear PPE required in the offshore oil & gas industry
• Must pass a DOT drug screen
• Frequently required to stand, walk, twist, balance, and stoop with good balance
• Regularly required to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds
• Occasionally required to carry at least 40 pounds with one hand (or in a backpack) for at least 50 feet
• Occasionally required to climb in and around equipment, stairs, and slanted ladders
• Occasionally required to sit, kneel, and squat
• Ability to hang from a rope swing for 8 seconds
• Ability to hold breath for a minimum of 35 seconds (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training and water survival training requirements)
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (Automobile, Boat, Airplane)
