Shop Hand - Broussard, LA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am - 4 pm
Type: Full-Time
Pay: $14.00/hour

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Hand to support daily operations in a fast-paced shop environment. This role helps keep the shop organized, safe, and running efficiently. If you're hands-on, willing to learn, and want steady work, this is a great opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Assist with general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining work areas
• Help load and unload materials, parts, and equipment
• Perform basic mechanical tasks and support technicians as needed
• Operate hand tools and basic shop equipment
• Stage materials and prepare orders for production
• Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards
• Support shipping/receiving or warehouse tasks as needed

Skills and Experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous shop, warehouse, or labor experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Dependable, good attitude, and willing to learn
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork
